The story so far:
Moved back to Philadelphia to paint a mural of hope in West Philadelphia, working closely with my church, Renewal.
It's been a few weeks into the process already, and God is totally faithful (of course). Although probably one of the harder things I've done, coming back and trusting God completely for every step, for structure, for support and for community has been incredible. I'm living with a really awesome guy from my church, which in itself has been a huge blessing; through that and other people that live really close to us, I've been quite social and having a great time getting to know everyone more. It's been a wierd dichotomy of being alone in the apartment, working out the logistics, design and planning of this project, wanting to be working in close community with the church but not yet at the point. I hope to have a preliminary website up for the project within the next week or two, so come back and look at that once it's done. Shortly, I'll also be sending out letters and cards to help you be a part of this awesome thing that God is calling me to in Philadelphia. I greatly appreciate all of your support and prayers, and am continually grateful for the place that God has me and the people that he's put into my life.
In other news, I've also been putting quite a bit of time into designing invitations for Jess' wedding. Exciting, eh? If you didn't know she was getting married, she's getting married in Australia on July 21st.
