Time has been inching by, spring is here, and I'm just about reading to start painting this mural. (Check out the mural project website here.) God has been slowly challenging, growing and training me up during the last couple of months. It has been really amazing to realize how much this time has been about just learning how to live with him, trust him, and glorify him all the time; I'm not quite 'there' yet (insert passionate theological arguments here), but it's definitely been a great journey so far.
I've been realizing how wonderful it is to be part of this community of people that I'm in, completely by the grace of God. I'm really looking forward to living out this life that God has set before me with here. At the end of May, it looks like I'll be moving into our single pastors' house (where a lot of the young pastors of Renewal live, along with some other guys). That's exciting and should be a great time of getting to know all of them better.
Right now, I'm about to start preparing the materials for the mural project for painting. Still trusting God for his provision and grace in all of that. I am quite encouraged and excited to begin the painting and studio portion of this project: it's been really hard to be trusting God in patience for the right time to be doing that, but I've been seeking his plans and his timing for the purpose of glorifying him, rather than doing what I think would be more fun.
In short, I'm really glad that I'm here in West Philadelphia, with the people that God has me near, and doing what I'm doing.

Min and me, at the congregational retreat in January. Yep. Small group is awesome, full of wonderful people.
